It slims me down because of where the top of the skirt and the bottom of the top come together, sits right at the slimmest part of my waist and is perfect. I have gotten so many complements.

I was very pleased with the quality and fit of this dress. I had ordered it for a wedding and received several compliments on it as well. I am on the taller side and it did go down to almost my ankles- It was perfect with the shoes i chose to wear.
I also was very pleased with how it washed. I washed it on cold and hung to dry. It retained its shape and fabric hand as well.
It fits nicely and flatters/flows in just the right spots.
